| As world builder I worked with designers to create many missions in our open world game set in Venezuela. Tasks ranged from small fuel recovery missions to large scale fortress assault contracts. I also worked with programmers to create the tools we used to sculpt terrain and paint scrubs and foliage. I also ran tests to determine the best terrain fade distances to maximize the details and avoid excessive tiling. Most of the terrain textures and grass scrub were created by me as well as the global textures (the vistas seen from a distance). |
